Official Statement

With a few minor exceptions, the letter below was written and posted earlier today on TheBettyFactor.com blog, another blog in the POLITIS LLC universe. 

As such, this letter represents the official statement on Transparency, Disclosure & Honesty for this blog and all other blogs and Websites in the POLITIS LLC universe.

Dear Reader:

Let’s make one thing perfectly clear from the beginning: I love what I do for a living. That said, I’m also in business to make a living. And sponsoring the SOAR Communications blog, writing for it, and promoting this site is all about

  1. Being successful, and
  2. Making money. (Or said less crassly, “maximizing corporate value” for all of the companies in the POLITIS LLC universe — and their owners, shareholders and stakeholders.)

And if that offends you, I’m sorry.  :-(

I hope it’s clear, however, that virtually everyone out there on the Web (and in the blogosphere) is doing the exact same thing — even people just writing a little family blog.

At a minimum, such an effort makes it easier for them to communicate with loved ones and/or stay on top of their lives. (Sounds like maximizing their personal value, which is not much different from “maximizing corporate value.” Chances are their efforts are just less obvious about making money or maximizing value from the get go.)

Anyway . . . here are our Statements about Transparency, Disclosure and Honesty for This Blog and Other Blogs/Websites in the POLITIS LLC Universe:

   

STATEMENT #1 (How We Handle Transparency) –

  1. We’re in business to “maximize corporate value” (or said more crassly to “make money”) — for our owners/shareholders/stakeholders — as well as for our clients.
  2. We expect that anyone who posts on this blog or any other blog (or Website) has similar goals.

  

STATEMENT #2 (How We Handle Disclosure) – 

  1. We will NEVER write about any client (present or past) without disclosing that relationship,
  2. If we write about an industry where we have a current client, we will ALWAYS disclose this fact as well, and
  3. We will hold all contributing writers on our blogs to this same standard. If a writer violates this rule, they will be warned once. (If this rule is violated again, they will be removed as a contributing writer.) 

   

STATEMENT #3 (How We Handle Honesty) –

  1. We will tell/write the truth.
  2. When in doubt, we will err on the side of caution.
  3. We will follow Rules #1 and #2 above.
  4. If we mess-up on any of these points, we will disclose such mess-ups and any follow-through to rectify such mistakes.

    I have to say being Honest Must be #1. after believing in the Man Up above.
    In oder to take care of those you Love, Your Business MUST come next.
    If you have a Great Friend, Partner, Mother and Wife, then you know that the Top 3 are in the right order.

    The Children and your Team members will see the quality of a Person and Company that will live on..
